Religion: Bahai

This religion was started in the mid 1800's by The Bab and it was continued through Bahaullah and continued through his son Abdu'l Bah'a and then Shaghi Effendi ( Abdul's eldest grandson).

Bahai teaches that God has throughout the ages sent a succession of divine messengers, know as manifestations of God to educate and guide humanity. Among them are Abraham, Krishna, Zoroaster, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, and now Bab and Bahaullah. Bahai also teaches that heaven and hell are states of nearness or distance from God not literal places.

Baha'is accept the validity of each of the founders and prophets of the major world religions. They believe in progressive revelation, which views every great faith as a link in a single spiritual system that is progressively revealed to humanity by God. Bahai's seek and end to religious fundamentalism and division, they believe in the essential unity of all religions.

To Deny that heaven and hell are literal places is to call God a liar.
Scripture is clear that Jesus went to prepare a place for us
John 14:2-3, New Jerusalem will come down from God out of heaven Rev 21:2, plus where was John in Revelation Ch. 4,7, etc.

Christians and Muslims cannot be worshiping the same God because the God of the bible has a son but the god of the Quran doesn't (John 3:16, Sura 5:72-73-75, 43:59). Plus they instruct their followers differently on what to do with divorced women.
(Quran 2:230, Deut 24:1-4, 1Cor 7:11). Plus Buddhism supports the idea of reincarnation while the bible does not. (Job 14:7-12,
Heb 9:27) and Thus all religions cannot be valid. The bible is clear that only Jesus can save you (John 14:6, Act 4:10-12, John 3:36).
You cannot save yourself through good works as other religions teach (Romans 3-5; Eph 2:8-9).

It is clear that the logically thinking person must reject Bahaism as truth because not all major world religions are true. One last example of this is how the different world religions view Jesus. Is he God as Christianity affirms, Just a Prophet as Muslims believe, or some lesser man than Buddha as the buddhist say he is their only master, but we have one master which is Christ Matt 23:10Matt 7:13-14 seems to refute the claim that all Major monotheistic religions are valid. Scripture tells us to be separate from them 2 Cor 6:14-18.

In conclusion, the Bahai movement teaches another "gospel" (Gal 1:7-9), and thus merits condemnation upon it's creator and followers. At the same time, it shows the validity of Scripture which warns of false christs, prophets, and teachers. (Matt 24:4-5,11, 7:15, 2 Peter 2:1-3, 1 John 4:1).
